Abstract:

This workshop offers a hands-on learning experience on how to use the open-source Hyperspy library to process and analyze electron microscopy data. Participants will learn how to use Hyperspy’s tools and algorithms for data acquisition, signal processing, image analysis, and spectral analysis. The workshop is suitable for researchers, students, and professionals in the fields of materials science, physics, and chemistry. No prior experience with Hyperspy or Python is required, but some familiarity with programming concepts is helpful. By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained practical skills in using Hyperspy to process and analyze their own electron microscopy data.

Please bring your laptop to be able to install Python and follow the instructions.
